Foal starter – Healthy foals right from the start

In the first six months a healthy foal‘s energy requirements increase steadily and rapidly. For this reason extra care has to be taken to provide young foals with the necessary energy. terabb- FS16 is a supplementary feed that is specially adapted to meet these increased nutrient needs.

As early as the second month, when the mother mare‘s milk production begins to decrease,  there is a considerable gap between 
the foal’s energy needs and the energy supply it receives from the mare‘s milk. terabb-FS16 has a high-energy content, so that by providing the foal with terabb-FS16 early on – from week 2 – such gaps can be filled.

Additionally, during their growth period and the development of their muscles up to an age of eight to nine months, foals have a high demand for protein. So when terabb-FS 16 was developed special attention was paid not only to the high content of digestible crude protein but also to the content of essential amino acids. During this phase essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine are particularly important for the development of organs and muscles.
